An action-packed second half at the Big 44 Exceptional Senior All-Star Game came down to a dramatic finish on Sunday afternoon. 

Team Davis of Section IV rallied from a 14-0 deficit with nine minutes to play and scored with one second remaining, taking a 16-14 victory over Team Little of Section III.

Both teams played to a scoreless draw in the first half but the game opened up in the third quarter. 

Team Little struck first after Fowler's Ty'nez Harp hit Gabron Polk of Bishop Ludden on a 71-yard touchdown at the eight-minute mark of the third quarter. 

Section III carried a 7-0 lead into the fourth quarter and added to it with another touchdown pass. This time, Harp found Jaiden Holmes of Rome Free Academy for a score from 42 yards out with nine minutes to play. 

Team Davis needed only two minutes for its answer. Section IV's group moved down the field and Ithaca's Daniel Parker cashed in on a three-yard carry. Brzozowy passed to Angelo Kryzston of Delaware Academy, shrinking the deficit to a 14-8 margin. 

The 14-8 score remained unchanged until the final minute of the game. Team Davis recorded a safety with 58 seconds to play, earning one more possession and making the score 14-10. 

Johnson City quarterback Peyton Brzozowy led Team Davis deep into Team Little's territory and with one tick left on the clock, found Union-Endicott's Cooper Hughes for the game-winning touchdown.

Team Davis stormed the field to celebrate after the victory.

"Our Section IV kids and staff did an unbelievable job. They prepared hard all week and it all came together right down to the very last second," Steve Virkler of Section IV said. "A great way for those guys to finish their high school career and a memory they will always have!"
