COLLEGE ATHLETICS: BROOME MEN'S BASKETBALL NOTCHES TWO MORE WINS, HORNETS MOVE TO 3-1 RECORD IN REGIONAL PLAY (2023-11-20)

Broome County Sports Report
A two-win slate for Broome men's basketball highlighted a quiet week for Broome athletics.
The Hornets traveled to Onondaga CC on Thursday, netting a season-high in points with a 92-77 victory.
Axell Camacho-Cintron of Binghamton left his prints all over the game with 18 points, six rebounds, six assists, four steals and two blocks.
Maine-Endwell grad Connor Green added 23 points, 16 rebounds and a block, marking his third straight double-double.
Jean Senatus of Union-Endicott finished with 20 points, nine rebounds four assists and a block. Senatus also shot an impressive nine of 11 from the field.
Saturday Broome turned to Cayuga CC where the Hornets found themselves in an eight-point deficit at halftime. The team scored 47 points in the second half and rallied to down the Spartans 64-56.
Green's ferocious presence down low carried into the second Hornets game of the week with 16 points, 17 rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block.
Senatus contributed nine points, 10 rebounds, two assists and a steal. Camacho-Cintron tallied nine points, two rebounds, five assists and four steals.
Broome improves to a 3-1 mark in regional play and sits in a tie for second place heading into Thanksgiving week.
The Hornets return home on November 28, facing Finger Lakes CC at 6 p.m. in another Region III matchup.
